I am sure Sen. Clinton's supporters will find a way to discount this poll.

While I have always maintained that polls now are not necessarily indicative of results in the fall, it is striking because of the drumbeat from Clinton supporters that the whole MI not counting thing will hand the state to the GOP in the fall.

Apparently, that may only apply to Sen. Clinton.

Granholm's numbers are hilarious. I can't believe she doesn't have 100% disapproval ratings by now.

I voted for her holding my nose (I'd never vote for a republican) but she has been a complete joke of a governor. Absolutely horrible. All she doing now is ensuring that the MI govenernship will be held by a republican in 2010.

I am not from MI so I don't know

what is wrong with her?

Obama said, as Bill beamed. "Thank you, President Clinton."

Re: Obama up in Michigan, Clinton down (none / 0)

Michigan has been in a recession for far longer than the rest of the country and absolutely nothing has been done to fight it. MI just continues to take hit after hit economically.

Re: Obama up in Michigan, Clinton down (none / 0)

Also the only reason she won was mainly due to MI being in a strong anti-Republican mood like the rest of the country despite the fact she had abysmal approval ratings. She was very lucky she was up in 2006, a good democratic year and not 2004.

Re: Obama up in Michigan, Clinton down (none / 0)

Hello,  I am sorry but do you remember writing this.

I don't remember seeing you say this is the thread yesterday calling for the Supes to just give the nomination to Hillary because he would never recover from this.

but one sec I will go back and look over and make sure I didn't miss it.

I don't want to accuse you of being hypocritical if you did say it when HRC supporters were calling for this to end.

because as you said you are for ALL voters getting a  say, not just Hillary's.

Well first off you do in fact call me a HYPOCRITE and then you suggest that you are going to check and be back in one sec and you suggest at least to me that you did check and dont need to prove this nonsense.  But you never addressed by post but left yours out there accusing me of hypocrisy.

I wrote this.

Well you can look at everything i have ever posted and any site anywhere on the net and i dont think you will ever find that i have said anything about the supers one way or another.

The reason for this is simple.  I remember 1968 and that leaves a bad taste in ones mouth. I dont think there should be supers period.  That doesnt seem right to me.  Voters vote and then someone wins and some one doesnt.

david

Dude, respectfully i think you should correct the record that you never read anything that i wrote suggesting that i said the supers should decide. And what you wrote was no true.

Of course it is up to you do decide if you need to do this or not.

Just saying.

david

Sooo (none / 0)

Fiddling with the interactive GE map on the front page, and adding Michigan and NY to Obama's total, he wins quite comfortably.

Which poll said McCain would beat Obama in NY? That's just craaaazy talk.

Re: Sooo (none / 0)

That doodad on the front page is a joke.  Obama wins North Dakota, but loses New York....right...
